The biggest BUZZ in the gift card industry lately has been about GiftCards.com and all the new improvements that have recently taken place. So many of these affect you and the services we have to offer you, so we're going to use this month's newsletter to explain what has been going on. We're excited, and we want YOU to be just as thrilled as we are to offer such cutting edge gift card options.

New Location

We recently moved into a brand new 20,000 sq. ft. building in Pittsburgh, PA to make room for all our new services. Our new building houses our executive offices, printing facility, customer service, sales, marketing, IT, creative department, and everything we need to service your gift card needs.

Visa Certified and Ready to Print In-House

We're officially Visa certified! This means we are an authorized Visa fulfillment center and can print our Visa gift cards in our own facility instead of outsourcing. As of September 5, 2008, GiftCards.com will print all gift cards in-house with our new state-of-the-art gift card printers. We're now one of only six facilities in the country with this Datacard® MX6000 technology.

Design Your Own Card

This is the most exciting announcement. We just released our brand new online Visa Gift Card design tool called OmniBuild. It will allow YOU to design your own gift card by uploading a photo and embossing a personal message. Once you upload your photo, you can crop, move, and place your picture on your gift card exactly how you want it. The possibilities are endless! Imagine paying for your purchases with a Visa card that has a picture of your loved ones. This is a great tool to design personalized Visa Gift Cards for weddings, birthdays, holidays, corporate gifts... any occasion!

New Designs

With our gift card printing in-house, there will be more gift card designs for you to choose from. We will offer a design gallery with something for every occasion. Keep checking back to see what new designs we have to offer.

Merchant Cards

GiftCards.com will begin selling merchant cards this October. You will be able to buy gift cards from your favorite retailers and restaurants right on our website. Now all your shopping can be done online at GiftCards.com.
