The Merchant Version of OmniBuild is primarily intended for merchants or retailers who sell a gift card, gift certificate, or gift codes online and want to give their users a fun and interactive customization tool to let them 'build their own' gift card with your brand. OmniBuild Merchant can be set up to integrate with existing gift card programs and processors or be used to create a gift card program for online only purchases.

OmniBuild Merchant can be used for any size of company from small online merchants looking to start a gift card program to large nationwide retailers looking to enhance their gift card program.
One of the issues that existing merchants have with their gift card program is the lack of choice for customers to select a card style for their occasion. Typically a merchant will have just a few cards to choose from because most card printers will only print in mass volumes. With OmniBuild Merchant and our company owned, OmniPrint fulfillment service, you can create as many card designs as you wish to provide your consumers a wealth of options. We can print all cards on demand and ship them directly to the consumer or in bulk to your stores. We do it all for you under one roof.
The card design and display of your logo is completely up to you. Each personalized card with a consumers photo can also display your logo overtop of the picture or on the side.
OmniBuild Merchant is a completely inline process that allows you to keep your consumers on your website. This allows your users to continue their shopping session and more importantly, all funds to be loaded onto a gift card is collected immediately by your shopping cart.
There are three steps to integrate OmniBuild Merchant to your website:
- Log in to the OmniBuild admin area to add any card designs that you wish to promote and configure your account
- OmniBuild will provide you with programming code and instructions that will allow your customers to create their own personalized card
- If we are printing the cards for you, your technical team will pass us a file as orders are taken with the card type and details
As each customer creates a personalized card with photo, you have the option to review and approve each card before it is printed. The OmniBuild administrative interface provides you a list of the cards ordered with an approval or denial action that provides you with a list of reasons the card may have been denied. If a card design is denied an email can be sent directly to the purchaser with an explanation and next steps.
If your existing gift card printing and fulfillment center does not offer customized on-demand printing, our OmniPrint division can handle all or a portion of your printing needs.
